OUR FAMILIES

What Families Can Expect

Choosing an experience for your Stride Star is about more than what she will do. It is also about how she will be welcomed, supported, challenged, and cared for along the way.

At Purpose in Motion Stride Academy, we want families to feel confident about the experience their Stride Stars are joining.

01

Come As You Are.

Every Stride Star brings her own interests, strengths, and experiences.

Each Stride Academy is designed for Stride Stars with different levels of movement and athletic experience. We encourage participation, progress, and a willingness to try. We will meet each girl at her stride and encourage her growth from there.

02

Encouragement Over Comparison.

We recognize effort, improvement, and the willingness to try.

Our coaches help each Stride Star recognize her own progress, celebrate personal accomplishments, and appreciate the contributions of others. We emphasize personal growth rather than ranking by athletic performance or ability.

03

Challenge With Support.

We want Stride Stars to stretch themselves—and know they have support.

Through clear instruction, age-appropriate challenges, and supportive coaching, girls have opportunities to learn new skills, practice, make adjustments, and try again. Each step forward matters, whether it’s developing a new skill or finding the courage to keep trying.

04

Belonging Matters.

Every Stride Star should feel seen, welcomed, and included.

Through shared experiences, teamwork, and encouragement, girls build connections, learn to appreciate one another’s strengths, and recognize that everyone brings someone of value.

05

Families Are Part of the Journey.

Families play an important role in celebrating and reinforcing their Stride Star’s experiences.

We encourage families to ask what their Stride Star enjoyed, discovered, or accomplished during each session. We also welcome your feedback as we continue to strengthen and shape future Stride Experiences.
